Eastern Iowa IFMA Chapter Meetings
Monthly meetings begin in September and conclude in June at the Annual IFMA Golf Outing. The schedule is set during the summer board retreat and fulfill at least one the following four categories: Tour, Round Table Discussion, Education, Networking.

Directions
Indian Creek's Amazing Space opened in September 2016 and showcases state-of-the-art efforts to 'go green'. It is Iowa's only sustainable, netzero energy project and boasts the only nature center in the world certified under the International Living Future Institute's Living Building Challenge. This certification looks beyond the typical LEED certification to focus on true sustainability and no negative environmental impact during construction or operation.
Used in this project: solar-thermal water heating, permeable patio pavers, sand and recycled glass insulation, rainwater reclamation, solar panels, geothermal and radiant floor heating and cooling systems, LED lighting and other technologies.
Outdoor includes: certified Nature Explore classroom, amphitheater, butterfly hoop house and covered learning shelters.
Registration at 3:30 pm; tour begins at 3:45 pm. Following the tour is time for questions, light snacks and refreshments and a social time from 4:30-5:30 pm. Cost: EI-IFMA Members $10.00, non-members/guests $15.00.
